How a Friday runs

There's no speaker, no slides, and no sales pitches. Everyone at the table runs a service business in the CSRA, and everyone gets a turn.

The work happens in a shared tracker. Each week you write down one commitment, and the next week you answer for it. Over months that log becomes a record of what actually moved your business.

Report back

Last week's commitment: done, partial, or not. What helped, and what got in the way. Hiring, software, cash flow, a manager who didn't work out. Real problems, said out loud.

Hot seat

One owner brings a problem and the table works it. Twenty minutes of questions and blunt advice from people who've been there.

Commit

Name the one thing you'll get done before next Friday. It goes in the tracker with a date. Next week, you're up again.

Can't make it?

Come back when you can. Miss three weeks and you're welcome on the fourth. Traveling? Members regularly call in by phone or Google Meet.

Who's at the table

Painters, contractors, pest and wildlife pros, a childcare center, an insurance agent. Different trades, same problems: hiring, pricing, cash flow, and getting out of the truck and into the office.

Owner-operated businesses in Augusta and the CSRA. The group stays small enough that everyone gets a turn.

Get an invite

Friday Forge is open to new members, and there's nothing to sign or pay. We do keep the meeting location off the internet, so the first step is a short phone conversation or an introduction from a current member.

Own a small business in the Augusta area and want a table of people who'll tell you the truth? Send a note with your name, your business, and what you're working on. We'll set up a call and, if it's a fit, send you the address and the Google Meet link.

Email

Or ask any current member to bring you along. A personal invite works just as well.
